good article about college offenses and running qbs

I see little mention that most of this requires an oline that can block in space. our blocks air very well most of the time, but human bodies not so well.

the reason there's little mention of this is because your point is either completely trivial or meaningless, i can't decide

what offense works without an oline that can't block in space?

It doesn't hurt either when you catch the defense lining up wrong. In that first video clip, one of the OU safeties is lined up wrong as they are both on the same side of the field and gives the O a numbers advantage to wide side . Could be a good play call or they just got lucky that OU lined up incorrectly. The overall article though is well written. But this could go back to he hurry up as well, it seems TCU caught OU napping even though there was only 3 seconds left on the play clock.

power I doesnt block in space. even the old style option blocked much less in space. you run much fewer 2 TE sets, teams are defending it with 3 man dline and 7 DB's . the Player you block now is not lined up on you like it is on goal line and other power running formations.

The old Neb teams could never block this stuff.

I dont know if our oline can block anything but you look at how many blocks we miss on the edge and how much better we tend to run between the tackles..
