BC doesn't have a lot of size inside and Rock has been working his butt off this year lets get him the ball on the low block tonight

Syracuse hasn't posted up since 2008. It's my biggest pet peeve in an otherwise stellar half decade.

Call for Mr. Jackson... Mr Rick Jackson, please pick up the house phone ...

Fab, Baye, Rak, and DC.

Probably a combined dozen post opportunities total. Rak has really been working for it this year. I wonder if it's the guards inability to feed it, lack of emphasis by the coaching/in practice, or what.

After he posts up and scores his first basket, I hope The Rock raises the People's Eyebrow.

Hey BC, I can take that basketball, shine it up real nice, spin that sum b1tch on 1 finger and stick it up your candy ass!

If ya smell what tha Rak is cooking!!!!

The Rak is laying the smack down on you jabroni!!

I fell like Xmas is one of the most underrated players syracuse has had in a few years. Dude can score when he gets it. Hes been playing real well this year as far as I'm concerned.
I agree. He's a lot more skilled offensively than he gets credit for. It's really just a matter of opportunity and motivation as much as anything. Dude has good form on his jumper, relatively soft touch around the bucket...he could be very solid in the right situation.

Dude is like a 75% free throw shooter too (better than ennis) get him the friggin. Ball.

I've been sold on Rakeem as a potentially strong offensive player since I saw him in the McD's game. He only scored 2 points, but it was on a BEAUTIFUL turnaround 12 foot jumper that was absolutely pure. And he just did it out of nowhere. There's so much natural talent there, I remain convinced that with him, it's mainly in his head, or a lack of motivation. He's so clearly got offensive skills hiding somewhere in there.

I love Rak, but I hope we run 35 isolations for Fair on the baseline, ten screens to free up Cooney or three, ten plays where we just give it to Grant outside and let him freelance, and then let Ennis drive it five times to the hole.

We run EVERY play for the Rak, it's called an offensive rebound. Sometimes the play doesn't work because the initial shot goes in.

How about the fact that all those guys are the 5th option.

And with the way Keita catches the ball, he might be 6th.

Let's hope he gets touches tonight and is able to convert at a good clip. I think one of the main things keeping him from getting multiple touches this season is the trust factor. Throughout his time at SU featuring him offensively simply hasn't produced enough dividends for his teammates to want to consistently invest an offensive possession into a low-block touch for him. If he can show the other guys that he's turned a corner by putting the ball in the bucket then I think the ball will come his way more and more.

I've been impressed by his effort this season and it has produced some solid results thus far. I think it could get to the point where he becomes a weapon for us this year. Not a 1st option or anything like that, but if there's a mismatch he should be able to exploit it and get us a handful of baskets.

I hate to say it, but in some parallel universe I envision Rak thriving at Georgetown (the team we beat out for his services). I think he would have done very well over there in the Princeton offense as their patented big man passer.

You're a bad person.

Not sure it is possible for anyone the "thrive" at Georgetown. Perhaps play above the gutter?

I hope we see 5 guys in double figures tonight and drop them by 30. I think its feasible other than the fact they still have the former Cornell coach right? So in that sense he will be more familiar than most in the ACC with our zone.
