Update: the surgery went well. Dan is in a recovery room, where he will stay for a couple of hours.

From there, assuming all continues to go well, he will then be moved to ICU.

I've been having my house renovated in several ways, one of which is to have the kitchen totally redone. I haven't had access to a stove or a dishwasher or washing machine is about a month. When it gets to be a bit of a drag, I realize that while I haven't been able to cook for a month, Orangeyes hasn't been able to eat for three months. Then my patience with my situation returns. My problem should be resolved this week and an certainly hope his has been, as well.

Anyone have any more updates? Would like to know how he is dong a few days after the surgeries. Hoping and praying everything is still on track for him to make a full recovery.
