We have a number of good posters here who are Virginia fans. I'm kind of biased as I lived in Virginia for 30 years, but I wish them good luck in the ACC championship game. This is a memorable opportunity for Virginia and if SU can't be there, the hoos are a good second choice. They're the second best college in Virginia, behind William & Mary, but this year they could be the best bball team in the ACC and the country. Go Hoos!!

It's theoretically better for our RPI (somehow) if UNC beats UVA.

('m not sure how or why this is - maybe because we played them 2x vs only once for the Hoos?)

I personally think that ship has already sailed, but others still hold out hope.
Those people should root for Ol' Roy and crew.

Yeah, I jokingly asked if it was because we lost twice to UNC vs only once to UVA. It'd feel so much better for me to root for UVA today... maybe some updated brackets will come out in time to enable me to have my cake and eat it too?

Yes! I have become quite fond of Charlottesville and spend some time there in the summers now. My friends and I have given Whiskey Jar, Bizou, Peter Chang's, Commonwealth, Lampo, Cafe 88, Champion Brewery, Beer Run, Blue Mountain, and Devil's Backbone lots of business.

Very familiar with those names... Blue Mountain, Bold Rock, Devil's Backbone, Champion have all had many a day with my butt in a seat... and no complaints to be had... Maybe I'll bump into youse as you venture through the scenery...

I think unc rolls them. Carolina is by far the most talented team in the country, theyve been inconsistent but i can see them coasting to the final 4.
