Today is either the glorious day we return to the Final Four or it is the real first day of spring, when sports stops mattering so all-fired much and we can stop worrying and just enjoy events for their own sake and sit back and see who wins. :)

Agreed.
I'm surprisingly calm about this whole thing and refuse to look ahead.
We're thisclose 2 years straight, and it'd be great to finish it off. The fact that we had big leads against teams like Marquette, even when we were playing like crap, gives me confidence that we've finally learned how to finish
Just staying positive and hoping we get another stellar performance from the guys. LGO.

I see what you are doing here.

That said, while it's warmer today in Florida than the 47F on Thursday morning, I see the forecast for back home for early next week is still COLD with a chance of snow showers on Monday and Tuesday! On to the Final Four, I say!

Glorious day in Ocala, Florida today. Forecast: This morning: low of 68 degrees, followed by increasing excitement, Sunny skies high of 78 degrees. Tonight: mild euphoria followed by complete and utter joy as Syracuse plays it's way into the final 4!

Refusing to look ahead was the hallmark of the 2003 run. This team's had that look in their eyes the past 3 games. The elevated level of awareness, slightly glazed over, living in the moment & maintaining defensive focus regardless. LET'S GO!

I intend to keep making game day posts like this until that first day of spring. Since we beat Indiana, it may be good luck. It's also a way of dealing with the tension and worry. It will either be good news or it will over and we will be on to other things.

I remember your posts every year on this topic. Just playing along. I recall it snowing on April 7, 2003. Such a good sign. Here's hoping "spring" holds off for another 9 or 10 days. ;)
