I hope we look better next week but it's an opener so you never know. Last year was a roller-coaster ride leaving us wondering what to think.

I know people expect 2-0 and if we play well it will be 2-0. But it wouldnt shock me to lose one before Clemson with all that hype and 2 games on the road..

I think we are fighting for GameDay in these first two games. Does GameDay come here if we are 1-1?

If we have a big season this year we need to act like a major program and buyout WMU to play a big boy week 0 at a neutral site. Butgers is p5 and we will have half the crowd that game week 1 is fine but if you want the coach to turn down programs that would never play MAC road games...maybe act like them and don’t play a MAC road game.

You can play week 0 home games if you schedule Hawaii and travel there would be cool one year when we get AC in the Dome to get a second bye week. Herm Frazier is a good guy but I feel robbed that he hasn’t gotten is a series with them I’d love that road trip. Anyone have an explanation why not?

An explanation of why not? Syracuse has 4 non-conference openings a year. One is going to be an FCS. There's much closer schools to play.

Also, why on Earth would you schedule a game against Hawaii, especially as a Northeast school? The reason the NCAA offers an extra game against Hawaii is to basically bribe schools to do it. It's like a 10 hour flight to Hawaii from New York. It would take forever to re-acclimate from that long of a trip.
