Its his first year! give the guy some time! Hes rebuilding that team by gettin rid of all the knuckleheads first.
ur nuts if u don't think strong rebuilds themOrangePA said:Yeah, but they were 7-2 in the Big 12 last year - 8-5 overall - and went to the Alamo Bowl - where they lost to Oregon. And they rebounded from a horrific start. They seem to be getting worse rather than better.

To a top 15 in 2 more years
Unfortunately for Strong, the trigger finger is itchy. The fans are absolutely getting fed up already. The radio talking heads in the Dallas area on ESPN Radio are being pretty sensible for the most part. The rational ones are basically saying, "You need to give Charlie Strong time to implement his system and get his guys in there, and when he does, they'll be a legit national program again."Will he get the chance? How itchy is their trigger finger?
Somewhere, stereotypical white southern racist guy is drinking a beer, rubbing his belly and enjoying it.
I live in Austin. This couldn't be further from the truth. People here blame Brown for letting the program slide and letting the team get soft. People understand this is a rebuild and are not feeling itchy with Coach Strong. The UT fans applaud the purge and are willing to let Strong do his thing. If they look like this in 3 years, sure, but there is no itchiness at this point.Unfortunately for Strong, the trigger finger is itchy. The fans are absolutely getting fed up already. But this being Texas, calmer heads don't often prevail when it comes to football decisions.
Well, then that's a prime example of how things are different even between Austin and Dallas. Folks up in North Texas are already ready for him to be gone.I live in Austin.
