I think the center jumbotron in the new Dome is incredible, and the speaker situation looks like it will likely be way better as well. The lighting capabilities of the new Dome will be/are pretty nifty, so definitely points there. But the ceiling itself looks way worse IMHO. The hard part won't ever look as good as the cloth, which is something that we will have to live with, and is possibly offset by the various bells and whistles and definitely offset by not having to worry about losing the roof entirely every snow storm. The center part *should* look comperable, but it looks like the new tiles (for a lack of a better word) are several different colors and were installed by someone's kid as part of a high school art project vs. the old look, which was clean. (Hopefully they'll get someone with at least one working eye to fix the tile issue next summer.)

The lighting might also be less soft now - or at least that's how it appears in pictures, which means the Dome interior looks less warm/orange to me than it did. Albeit, the lights from the video board probbaly change that coloring when they're on and literally glowing orange.
