That last shot attempt by Boise is NOT a foul in reality nor is it usually called a foul in college. Yes it is called a foul in the NBA.
That was a foul. There were a bunch of other late non calls that were sided towards Dayton as well.
I don't think this was a foul, but I think Gottlieb has gotten more tolerable over time. I did appreciate him repeatedly saying that it was unfair for Dayton to have home court last night. The selection commitee seems to think that its ok and that they agreed on this decision if it ever occurred a few years ago, but its just not right to reward the LAST team in the field with a home game. I loved Tirico's idea of just moving the Boise/Dayton game to Columbus since it was the site for the next round and the winner would just stay there regardless. Surprised nobody mentioned this idea on Sunday when the bracket was first revealed.
Exactly, cuz it's not like their can be a scheduling conflict since the other teams are already practicing there. They should do that for all the play in games. Play at the pod site of the next opponent.
Someone ask Gottlieb about Eddie Sutton at OSU and Kenntuckystop talking about gottlieb and davis and doyle. stop feeding the machine. some of you aren't so bright yourselves.
This is what I think is wrong. It is just an unfortunate coincidence that Dayton got to play on there home court in the first four match-up. Felt bad for Boise St. Not much the NCAA could do. However, to place them as an 11 seed against Providence in Columbus is a joke.He is wrong.. but i think its coming from his disgust of dayton playing at home which i agree. And now as the 11 seed they play close to home again in columbus.
