Grant

He is the quickest jumper we have had since Warrick and reminds me a lot of him size and athletically. I wish he could watch some of Warrick's SU tape-He was an excellent offensive player his last 2 seasons.

The guy he actually reminds me of more--in terms of game / body style--is junior year John Wallace.

He is a dead ringer. Even looks the same as Jdub running around out there.

Funny you say this as even though he reminds me of Warrick in regards to the gumby like body control and loving to dunk, he really is a lot like wallace. He moves more naturally like a guy who is comfortable handling the ball and goes for the block with the same kind of ferocity john did.

Yeah I see a lot more similarities between Grant and Wallace than I do Grant and Warrick.

Yeah I like this comparison a lot. I see Grant having the ability to show a lot more diversity in his offensive game than Warrick could. Thats not a knock on Warrick either, he was a tremendous college player.

I'd just love to see him take advantage of his size and athletic ability with a couple of Warrick-like post moves. Warrick was so darn efficient b/c he used that ability close to the basket. I would rather see Grant do that and have a high FG % than stand outside and shoot jumpers.

Yeah. I agree with you a 100% there. Our team would be much improved with a consistent post presence. If Jerami can develop some Warrick-like moves I'm all for it.

I thought Wallace had snuck into the gym during our Canadian tour. Totally agree with Grant looking like him in body type and playing style.

Warrick. How fun was it to watch that dude play. Every second of the game, he could just go off and do something amazing.

Grant reminds me of LeSean Howard, but even better.

I'd say that Wesley Johnson was a quicker jumper than anyone mentioned in this thread.

But Grant does jump well.

Good call, Wes with some nice highlights and a Top 10 play tonight for the Lakers.

Makes you wonder why he didn't play a bit more during our run last year.

Southerland was so hot from 3 he nearly melted through the floor. Do you remember the insane display he put on during the BET? Not going to sit him and likewise not going to sit CJ.

I do recall. Still.

I was also hammered when I posted that. Thank god for autocorrect.

I'd gladly take a repeat result of Warrick's soph year for Grant's soph year.

Wallace as a senior shot 42% from 3.

Hakim Warrick was absolutely dominant his senior year.

Anyone remember how he'd face down a defender and hold the ball away in one hand? Incredible.
