It will be very interesting how refs call the games. Boeheim is a HOF coach and is used to getting respect from the refs.

He is going to demand that he be treated the same as K or Roy. He will not accept any less.

I think there will be a moment when what JB says in a press conference about ACC refs will be very high profile for a news cycle. Maybe after a T or even getting thrown from a game.

And the issue will be fixed by the refs or it will come up again. JB is not going to give anyone an inch.

Titus is a jackass who much rather prefers to say something "funny" than have an objective opinion.

He never gives Syracuse props, ever. The fact that he doesn't say anything bad about us now makes me suspicious more than anything.

He takes a lot of crap, but I think he's pretty good, as long as you read him for what he is. He's got a unique perspective on the game, is a good writer who is at least occasionally funny (if not as funny as he thinks he is), and doesn't just spout cliches. He's not Grantland Rice or Ken Pomory, but he doesn't pretend to be either.

Some funny lines in that article. My favorite: "Where are the punchable faces?". Refering to Duke - I was LOL.

I thought his Duke comments were great fun! "Where are all those pasty unathletic white guys pounding the floor?" I've never quite understood the Duke hate because, well, you know.... They really haven't been "those arrogant guys" since the early nineties, IMO. After their back to back Championships in 91/92, I remember the t shirts: DUKE. Beating you because we can. That did grate a little bit. Unless you were a Duke fan, and then it was effin hilarious!

I also liked what he wrote about CJ, that he was a guy who didn't want glory but did the dirty work of scoring points because <sigh> someone had to.
