3.  [B]The teams to be contractually partnered with the ACC will be top ranked teams[/B]...there may be a kicker for Notre Dame if it is a top 15 team and has not played the ACC Champion and is not a top 4 team, then Notre Dame will be specifically considered; however, there may be a significant pact also signed with other major conferences to possibly get their #2 team if their #1 is in top 4...so the ACC may have either Notre Dame, or #2 or #3 from any of the other big 5 conferences if they are not in the semi games and or in their contract bowls: Rose, Champion, or semis.
 
This is really a big deal and most likely keeps the ACC whole for many years to come...losing teams should not be a concern at this point.  'Cuse really made the right choice...lets get to ACC by July, '13.
