Can't ask for much more against a guy that had 3 inches on him. Why did he only play 10 minutes a game again?? Keep it rolling!

he is much better suited for the center position than the 4. he was fantastic on the boards today, still couldve finished a bit better but its hard to complain

Thank you Rak! He will get better and better.

Not that I would mind having Melo available but these stats are equal to or better than Melo's averages. Way to step up Rak, keep it up!!!

Rak also seemed to get a bunch of deflections leading to steals and also corralled a number of loose balls. He needs to dunk with two hands on follow-ups. He also needs to dunk with two more often all the time too. He seemed to get more and more confidence as the game wore on. Rak also played much better positional defense and didn't leave his feet as often as he usually does.

Rak is a better basketball player than Melo. Melo has intangibles that you just cant teach but he is still raw. I also think that Baye played well. Southerland however was off the chart. He brings a physical nature to our back line that is missing with Lefty. I really like this kid and feel as if he is going to be a Monster down the stretch and next year

Yet you did.

Rak has made me forget about Fab and he's going to be a good one for us. If we don't get Noel, I'm feeling pretty good about next year. He has to work on looking for the outlet pass better and stop charging out to the corner on 3's which completely takes him out of the play if the shot is missed.

I disagree with you on him running out to the corner three...Rak doesn't do that habitually...only when the wing is out of position.

Southerland is a freak. 6'8 long, athletic, blocks shots, rebounds, harasses people all over the court, finishes around the basket...oo yea, and hes a knock down 3 point shooter. Absolute freak.

There was one play in the 2nd half I think where both he and JS ran out on the wing player - not necessary. When KJo gets lost on D and leaves the wing open I guess its damned if you do and damned if you dont.

He absolutely came through when we needed him. And he showed poise, class, and determination every second he was out there.

He is no longer a freshman. He really looked like someone JB can trust. Our stock just jumped big time, largely because of Rak.

I know the exact play you are referring to and you are right about that one...but like I said, Rak is not making it a habit.
