I'm in my car driving around and settled on the Creighton broadcast of their game vs Yukon. Fortunately they came back to tie it to send to OT and eventually win despite Bouknight's 40 points.

So the question was with Creighton playing in Connecticut, it marked their 46th state they have played in and they were trying to figure out the remaining four, which ended up being Maine, NH, Delaware and Alaska.

I'm thinking no way Cuse is even close to that and to send it to Mike's Mailbox but this would be great for someone who had a lot of time. Calling SWC!!!

Thanks OX. Thanks Mike. Well that's half of Syracuse's basketball history. You figure in the old days maybe Vermont and NH but no way they took a bus or train to a lot of those others.
Too scared to come up here and play UVM.

They have played games at Dartmouth before JB, so they have played in New Hampshire. But I do not believe they have ever played in Vermont.

Now Vermont was originally part of New York and the only way the Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain boys were willing to fight in the Revolutionary War was if they got their own state (in the event the colonies won the war). That is extortion and for that reason, I do not recognize Vermont as an independent state, but as a tree-hugging outpost of the Great Empire State.

Another funny trivia type thing that occurred to me the other day. I wonder if the Niagara game this year was the first time a Syracuse team has played guys with the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 all in the same game?

And Maine used to be part of Mass... before it became a separate state and joined the union in 1820. So by Tom's thinking, we have also played in Maine

All this used to be part of Louisiana...
