I didn't get a chance to watch the game last night but it sounds like it was a total rock fight. I'm loving it thought because we actually won a rock fight against these guys. Two teams I hate the most are Pitt and Louisville.
For those who watched the game how many of the 14 threes and 28 shots outside the paint that we missed were within the first 10 seconds of the shot clock? This is my only real concern about this team is our tendency to settle for an open jumper with out probing the defense. This hurts us in so many areas:
- Doesn't make the other team work on D
- Opens up to runs from the other team if they score off the miss
- Can't rebound because there is no one in position
- Turns the game into a one on one mess
How much was this a factor last night? I feel if we fix this (and we probably won't as who we are now is who we are) no one can beat us.
