Greg Schiano...

So, Schiano leaves Rutgers. Chris Ash leaves Ohio State to take Schiano's old job at Rutgers. Schiano goes to OSU to take Chris Ash's old job at OSU?

A solid college football headcoach...turned around the Rutgirls program. I prefer we pick a headcoach rather than taking a risk with an assistant with no head coaching experience.
i only agree with the second sentence. schiano, if you have followed his hx is a glorified joke--smoke and mirrors ---cannot say anything else

recruiting nj just got a lot tougher with schiano going to ohio state. he was a horrible head coach, but is an excellent recruiter and defensive coordinator.

Based on the Beatty hire and release of Acosta, looks like we've moved our sights to Maryland/PA/VA.

Probably, although it remains to be seen who fills out the staff and where their areas are

No it didn't. tOSU caliber recruits from NJ aren't selecting SU anyway.

schiano brought rutgers from tied with temple last in the big east to 1st-2nd in the big east and then helped them move to the big 10 because of their football.

You might not like him but when you look at the overall body of work he played a big part in all that.
He didn't have one great season but a couple. Not saying hes a good guy, or a candidate but he did a good job.
Big ten took them over Cincy or Temple.

The B10 took New Jersey/NY Metro not Rutgers.
