1. We stopped passing and moving obvi. For those 5 mins we had two guys parked in each corner. Kingz, Kiyan or Betsey then a few times Donnie on the perimeter. They barely moved and worse None of them even thought about taking a 3. Just moving and making one 3 pointer prob keeps the GT defense from clogging the paint with Kyle and Donnie so much and making George and JJ drive with nowhere to go. Nate and JJ have to find them a shot and at the same time those guys need to at least move a little. I know we’re not a great 3 point shooting team but taking a 3 would’ve been better than what we did.

2. Donnie got hacked 2-3 times really bad with no whistle and it took him out of his game on both ends. GT basically just upped the intensity and we didn’t do the same. The refs put GT on the FT line 8 times in those 3 mins. Some of that was on us but then when they finally called a few whistles the other way we came back around.

Really bad run those 5 mins. Just needed one guy to step up and no one could when they took freeman off his game. I’m not sure there’s a quick fix. Just need a next man up mentality and can’t play scared even for a few mins.
