lost in all the post game frustration is the continued progress of guerrier who had 13 efficient points, got to the foul line, made his freebies, and even had a few blocks. he gives us some badly needed moxie.

we need to see some big lineups with this kid playing sf and elijah slipping to the backcourt, especially to mix things up at times.

Boeheim is not gonna play a lineup that puts Buddy on the bench....Buddy is a great shooter but when gets face guarded like he has the last couple of games he has a hard time getting his shot off against better athletes...Guerrier is getting better even though Boeheim still finds something to complain about.

Guerrier has mentioned he likes when JB stays on him

His FT shooting improvement is making me cautiously optimistic he may be able to hit 1-2 wide open 3s a game next year, similar to how CJ did his junior year

Would make plying him and marek at the same time (with a center) more plausible offensively

Here's his stat line for FSU game:

-22 minutes.
- 4-5 FG.
- 5-6 FT.
- 13 points.
- 2 rebounds (both offensive).
- 3 fouls.
- 1 assist.
- 1 turnover.
- 2 blocks.
- 1 steal.

Other than the fact I would like to see more rebounds, not bad for a freshman off the bench. Saw the same thing as the last game whereas we did not try to get him the ball down low in the last part of the game. Obviously no guarantee that might have changes things.

I’ve been begging since November for this
