It's also very fair to blame a lot of issues on fund-raising as I think it's been terrible. The talk of big boosters is funny because it seems as though Gross had put most of his eggs in this basket and by alienating many of the the smaller, long-time boosters, he's hurt the bottom line.

As far as w.lax having big donors, that's great, but why should they displace the weight room for 10+ sports for a new locker room? No one can convince me that building that locker room, and then having to turn around and try to build a new weight room is a sound strategy.  Decisions like that make me wonder what the long-term planning looks like at Manley.
