That was what these guys displayed. Our guys spent most of the game one big play away from being knocked out & never gave in & never let it happen.
Early in the game Alec had a huge drop on an easy play, but boy he was perfecto after that.
I must confess after their first two drives, I thought they had too much speed for us. I am enjoying my crow pie this AM.
The staff made fantastic adjustments to shut them down after their early surge.
The D line came up with play after play when needed.
The O line didn't let anybody touch Ryan.
And for Nassib, simply fantastic, IMHO he can play at the next level. Maybe not a star, but he can play. The kid simply come up huge. I still remember many posts on this board in past years saying he wasn't any good. Any still out there with that opinion ???? Who the heck is gonna replace him (and Alec) next season ???
Same goes for Marrone.
My only criticism was that I thought we tried to force the run too much (particularly in the third quarter) when it was obvious that they had adjusted & nothing was happening. I though we should have gone to the sky earlier & put the ball in Nassib's hands.
