There will be years when the teams playing in the final will not be "Big East" teams. Butler v Xavier, Saint Louis v Dayton, something like that. Not sure that's going to be a better Big East, but to each his own.

I suppose if I was a fan of one of the new Big East schools I'd be saying the same thing. Any sane human being known losing Syracuse and UConn guts the tradition and much of the significance right out of the league.

The guy lives in Fantasia, within 10 years the New Big East will be one of the Mid Majors , with a few good teams each year.
