In a two minute drill, right behind our center, who repeatedly gets eaten alive all game.

Not one. But two tight end shovel passes. In a two minute drill.

What was that?

It’s been discussed, but we really lacked urgency down two scores. I understand you need to make sure you don’t make a mistake, but you also have to recognize the situation and we repeatedly seemed unprepared for that situation last night.

I thought the first one was a great call and it picked up the first down didn't it(?), which stops the clock. Any play that picks up a first down is a good play in a college two minute drill for that reason. We ran out of time because of the false starts and the sack (the first false start, particularly).

Especially when we didn't pass to our TE's and we have 2 with hands and speed.
When they are setting up these game plans are they doing so while being on Ambien?

First one I liked, good play. Bears have been using it successfully this year at the right times. Doing it for a second time wasn’t a great choice. But imagine throwing down the middle at the spot to the TE when we hadn’t done that all game. Game over.

it was a great call given the formation the D used.. tha fact we cant block makes it a spotty call..

Termination-worthy, to be frank.

He’ll never do it, but I’d have no problem with Dino moving on from Mike Lynch. The play calling has been awful all season and we came out of the bye week doing the exact same things as when we came into it.. I miss the days of Erv finding the soft spot in the defense, sitting down, and waiting for the ball for a pickup of 8. Wish we could get back to that offensive game plan, I’ve been saying it all year, we don’t need the home run on every play and that’s what it seems like we’re going for. Let’s play chess and out smart and out scheme our opponent down the field.

We also ran out of time because, even in the "hurry up" offense, we wasted a great deal of time in between plays.
