But I understand what Captain is saying too.  Losing Wright is a symptom of a (I won't say the word problem yet) concern that many of us share.

I understand wanting a measuring stick, and the interest in comparing Syracuse to Washington now (pre-Hop vs post-Hop).  I agree with Captain that we need to be examining all facets of our recruiting, including how we fare against Hopkins, arguably our best most feared recruiter. Our ability to honestly examine the health of our recruiting is essential for the continued success of our program.

I don't support the notion of wanting to see us.do poorly or have us miss on recruits to prove a point.  I suspect, that Captain, like I have in the past, had a moment where his frustration got the best of him.

If I'm wrong, and speaking out of turn, I hope he corrects me.  But I , for one, understand how difficult this message board can be for those who don't always post what others want to hear.

That being said, I want Syracuse to win, and all of our recruits to shine.  I hope our 2017 class can become what many here say will be one we'll look back on fondly.
