I can't believe this was eight years ago today. Celebrating Jim Boeheim's 900th win ... when we could actually ATTEND basketball games! I made the "900!" sign in CT and brought it to Syracuse. It is held by Baye Moussa Keita (whose face is barely visible) because Baye was the tallest person on the floor after the game.

I was there. Man, it still hasn’t sunk in that I am not going to a game this year. And to add to the frustration, I cannot watch with my daughter or friends. There are so many reasons I would like to fast forward in time, and this is one of them.

I am wondering with huge interest what my seat in the new Dome will look like, though. :)

So weird. I was going to bring my 7 year old with me for her first trip to the dome. Next year.

I was actually out for most of the game but remember rushing home to see the win and the ceremony afterwards.

Never got an official ceremony for win #1,000, darn NCAA

If his left hand was a little bit lower it would’ve been 9001 what a record

As much as some people  gripe about that season, we had a bunch of remarkable wins and memorable moments.

In addition to those 2 above, there was:

John Gillon’s buzzer beater to beat Duke.

JG’s even more insane buzzer beater vs NCST to send it into OT, and eventually the W.
That was the most absurdly efficient offensive game any Syracuse player has ever had.

Uncle Drew putting up 40+ vs GaTech in the Dome.
(special to me because I was there, my first hoops game in person in the Dome in decades)

For the grad transfers suck crowd -
Just imagine that season WITHOUT JG and AW.
/ shudders.
