My old house in Burlington. Trying not to wake my wife and son.

In our townhouse in WV on the lower level managing to keep awake every living thing in and outside of the house through every OT.

Couldn't sleep for an additional 2 hours+ because of how I hyped I was after the game

I love the part on the 5th OT where Justin Thomas comes in and is doing jumping jacks while everyone else can barely stand.

i remember crawling into bed and the wife asking who won. "Cuse 6 ots " . silence. a few seconds later the light came on and she says "WHAT ?"

I love the part on the 5th OT where Justin Thomas comes in and is doing jumping jacks while everyone else can barely stand.

So many memories from that game but I also love to remind folks of Justin Thomas' super effort in 5th and 6th OT. It was kind of like he was groomed for the moment....his 15 minutes of fame for Syracuse basketball.

Where were you?

Living in South Florida, was in Miami at this girl I was seeings house, left at halftime and did about 90 up the 95 to get to Delray Beach to get home and hope to catch the last 5-10 minutes. Little did I realize I was going to see more after half time than before.

Like 300,000 other people, I was there. Though I actually was. Attended the game with my brother who passed away last year. It was a last minute decision, we bought tickets from scalpers and got in. Had to leave our car in New Jersey and take the train in. When the game finally ended we ran for the trains and caught the last one back! When we got to the car, we found we had left it unlocked. Incredibly everything was still there. We talked about the game many times afterward over the last few years, and I referenced it in his eulogy. It was a favorite memory and always will be for many reasons both SU and non SU.

I think about this game more than I do the national championship.

While 6OTs is crazy, not ever having the lead until the final OT is the truly unbelievable part of it.

I still don't remember driving to work four hours after the game , it was a tiring day to say the least.

I am so glad I recorded that game on DVD. Pull it out probably three times a year.

Wife went to bed after regulation. Me, my buddy and wife's best friend did a shot for good luck. Then did a shot at the end of every ot. Had to work at 7 next morning, pretty sure I was still drunk when I got there, just remember my boss looked worse than me

Me too. Woke up in bed with my shoes still on. Couldn't remember who won the game.

We are so lucky to have such unbelievable memories... JDubs shot, Pearls heave, THE block, Devo on the table in that 6 OT game, TRobs monster Duke game, Tyus from the corner vs Clemson, THE comeback (UVA). THE comeback (Okie St), JB vs the jacket, Stevie flying to the rim and a million more.

I watched from my bed, wife was out of town. Somewhere around the third OT my youngest son, about 9 at the time, came into my bedroom and puked between the bed and the wall. I spent several OT periods cleaning vomit and watching the game. Hardly remember the disgusting parts, but will never forget the great play of Flynn and Rautins and Harris and Everyone else. This game is seared into my memory more than any other game that wasn’t a national championship game.
