You could say the day Muhammad Ali retired from boxing was the day boxing died. Love him or hate him, he was polarizing, Ali made boxing interesting
I had the good fortune of meeting him one day in Canastota when he was in town for a Boxing HOF ceremony, but that's another story for another day.
