They have looked very strong as of late. Addazio has been torched on this board and I've never understood it. He's always loved Syracuse and had a great reputation leading up to his hiring at BC. He struggled out of the gate as ANYBODY would have. Good to see him get it going with some old Cuse staff.

There is still a good chance BC is going to fire Addazio at the end of the year from all signs as the new AD isn't in love with him. His final 3 games this year are against NC State, Syracuse, Connecticut. Even if he wins just 1 and gets to 6 wins and a bowl he might be let go.

I am not sure they fire him off another season where he went to a bowl but I do know he isn't the most loved among the people that run BC and 6 wins or not he is still on the hot seat.

Scot Loeffler has, literally, saved Addazio's butt. Somehow Loeffler has even convinced the Dazzler to run tempo on offense. Besides being a very good coordinator, he must be one heck of a salesman!

Altho I was happy to see FSU go down I can't root for BC as they are a recruiting rival in the slim pickings of the NE including NJ and Connecticut. Them winning isn't good for us during our rebuild.

Its hard not to like Coach P. I wanted him gone at the end of his tenure, but in hindsight I think the administration/crappy facilities was 99% of the problem.
That being said, I hope we annihilate them when we play

I don't root against them and I don't root for them. It would be nice to have a traditional regional rivalry actually mean something, so having consistent success against everyone but us would make our game with them fun. It is unlikely FSU and Clemson will ever consider us a main rival the way BC would. I say bring 'em on. As long as we have Dino, I'm not afraid of their success. This idea that we need teams in our region to suck for us to have success needs to die now that we have a real leader with a real staff.

They would do that to keep the momentum they have going with the best QB/RB freshman tandem in the country on track. I don't think playing those guys will be easy or awesome. And why isn't Dillon wearing the 44 at Syracuse?

Like P and Addazio or not, they have put together a good team, and they are making a good run. BC looks good on all 3 phases of the game, including a punt return game (something we lack). Just adds to the drama of our final game -- with bowl consequences for both teams. Makes that game big, and better when we win.
