The above video on Syracuse is only 7 minutes of the full 12 minute segment. For anyone who has not seen the full program "Game On: Journey to the NCAA Championship" re lacrosse I highly recommend it. It was originally broadcast on ESPN2 Thursday afternoon. It's scheduled to be repeated tomorrow at 1:30pm on ESPNU and next Wednesday night on ESPN2 at 10pm. It's also available on the ESPN app for those who subscribe to ESPN+. [For some reason YouTubeTV only recorded the last 15 minutes Thursday but did record the full hour when it was repeated on ESPNU this morning. I watched it last night on the ESPN app.] It's hosted by Jeremy Schaap (Cornell Alum) and Paul Carcaterra, was recorded after last weekend's ACC Tournament, and has 4 segments: 1) Cornell and C.J. Kirst and the Kirst family 2) Notre Dame and Chris Kavanagh and his brothers 3) Syracuse and the Gait brothers with cameos by Mike Powell and Joey Spallina (and the history of #22) 4) Maryland and goalie Logan McNaney The segment on Syracuse includes the story of Paul's accident. Each segment if very well done and very moving. At the very end Carc mentions Jimmy McCool as one of the top goalies in the country and picks Cornell to win the National Championship.
