Harvard over FSU

UConn lost to UCF so they wouldn't have to play Harvard.

Too bad Amaker couldn't coach Seton Hall and Michigan like he can Harvard. The Harvard guys don't like to fight each other, which is obviously a good thing.

Probably a testimony to being elevated much too soon based on name and pedigree. Seems like TA is settling in as a HC now.

I knew Harvard had a good team but was very surprised they handled Fla St. I thought they were top shelf right behind UNC and Duke. Wait, they are right behind UNC and duke. Starting to regret our move to the ACC now.

Its all about football. The ACC only has 3 serious basketball teams and if there is a north and south division we will see each of the 3 good teams once every other year. FSU would be middle of the pack Big East, probably less than 50% won loss record if in the Big East. I don't think people realize what a step down this is. We had no choice but it is a pyric victory as far as basketball. Get ready for a steady diet of Virginia Techs.

That steady diet of Va Tech hasn't hurt Duke and Carolina.

There's no way the ACC goes to two divisions for basketball. The conference needs made for tv games in order to maximize revenue for basketball. I'll be shocked if we don't play Pitt twice a year and then rotate between Duke and Carolina for home and homes every year. There is no way that ESPN is going to allow us to only play two total games a year against Duke and Carolina.

Right, as long as Bernie doesn't blow up on us.

For us to play Duke and Carolina every year the ACC would have to go to an unbalanced schedule. The aCC has never had an unbalanced schedule and the other teams would not let it happen. This is all about football. A steady diet of VA Tech might not hurt our quality, but it is a step down in terms of competition and excitement for the fans. If you snack on cupcakes you get a sugar high followed by lethargy.
