Waiters should win 6th man in a landslide and if he doesn't, it's only because someone gets hurt on Syracuse and Waiters is forced to start a lot of games.
 
POY is going to be a pretty fierce competition.  Right now Waiters is on the list but I don't see how he wins over Jones or Pope if they continue at their level.  If he got the minutes he would have a good shot at it.  DJO at Marquette also may be in the running.  Interestingly, I think a lot of the same players will be in the running for Most Improved.
 
Drummond is at 10.7 PPG, 9.8 RPG and 2.2 BPG right now in BE play but would have to vastly increase his scoring in the next 12 BE games to be seriously considered for BE POY.  He is probably in the running (with Harkless as the other main competitor) for BE Newcomer of the Year (or whatever they call this) and may have an outside shot at being named to BE first team if he maintains his level of play.
