I haven't heard a peep from AD Coyle since LSU. Am I just missing it or has the guy been completely silent?

If I was Shafer I sure would like to hear something in support from my AD.

He's on the TK 99 radio show broadcast live from the quad every home game. Saw him interviewing before PITT game.

Why would he comment? What is to gain from that? No need for him to speak, and spark controversy.

IF I was Coyle, I sure would like a couple of wins;)

Oh I don't know, to say we're in support of Shafer, young team looks good, is competing, but just coming up short. Instead, silence.

Maybe I'm just used to Darryl Gross who would never shut up.

It would be awkward to say all that, and fire him 7 weeks later. ;):rolleyes:

Yep. And for all we know a decision has already been made and it won't be announced (if there is anything to announce) till after the last game. For all we know Coyle could have been leaning one way or the other before the season started and as we enter November he has made up his mind already.

If he is going to keep Shafer you don't announce that. You don't hold a press conference to announce someone ISN'T getting fired. So nothing needs to be said or announced by him at any time. If he is going to fire Shafer you don't announce that till after the season. So, Coyle has no reason to say anything right now.
