The logical inference that can be made is that Dr. Gross told Swofford and the other 13 ACC ADs we need to play these ND games for $$$ he was guaranteed from Metlife. Notre Dame loves these 2014 and 2016 Syracuse games because they are playing 8 home games, 5 true  road games (FSU, Clemson, UVA, Pitt,NC State)  2 road games at Metlife Stadium which will turn into de facto home games for them. So they are having their cake and eating it as well. No need for them complain since they are fulfilling road games in ACC stadiums, but are benefiting from playing in NY/NJ. Syracuse is one taking it on chin, but nobody in the media has asked Dr. Gross about why we are still playing these games at Metlife and whether he tried to have one of them moved to the Dome.
