I think my point is that for the budget that was given Shaffer to pay for staff he couldn't offer a proven OC and/or DC enough money to come here so he could only go after a potential "diamond" like a OCGM as SU is currently unwilling or unable to pay for proven talent on the football side of the equation. We will most likely never get to a NC in our lifetime unless the "diamond" in the rough actually end up working out from time to time.
