...during my morning commute this morning. The radio guys [predictably] made fun of the scenario, the fact that it was video taping male athletes, etc.
One of them brought up how this type of thing is "common at Syracuse," and referenced the Bernie Fine scandal--but I was surprised to hear one of the other announcers counter that by pointing out that all charges were dropped against Fine, and that he was proven innocent [the last part isn't accurate, but it was an interesting interpretation].
In any event, that provides some insight about public perception outside of CNY on both issues.
