Help: FIOS vs Time-Warner vs DirecTV!

I live in CNY. I'm paying way too much for my current FIOS service ($200). This includes a land line, fast internet and the "Ultimate" TV package. I also have NetFlix. Turns out I watch a tiny subset of the available TV channels. I'd like to cut my monthly bill back to $100 - 125 if possible.

Reqirements​

I need good internet service. The land line only because I have TWC Security. I'm willing to drop Security, if necessary. As far as TV goes, I only need the basic entertainment channels along with a DVR. But I "need" sports, particularly Cuse sports. I love "Red Zone". Also college Hockey. I have MLB.tv for baseball.

Anybody with similar requirements satisfied with their current service? What service would that be?

Any recommendations?

Unfortunately the most comprehensive SU sports coverage in central NY is on TW. The picture quality is not on a par with FIOS , equipment is undependable (new box needed yearly with rebooting common), and they seem to raise prices monthly, usually new "fees". Digital service needed (extra charge of course) for a sharp picture, analog terrible.
Phone service is good.
Have standard internet, seems to be getting slower than it was especially in early evening. Local installers tell me that TW has overloaded their lines with phone service and to expect slowdowns. Tried their slower internet to save $10/month but was so slow it reminded me of dial up.
Good luck with that $125/months figure, for what I have price currently nearing $180
