What happened out there exactly?

Sounds like a major hose job from the refs. Again. It's amazing how coincidental it is that every time there's been a questionable call it has gone against us. Kinda bucks the odds, I guess.

Sounds like there was a bad call to try to kick a FG?

Sounds like Reddish went all Nash on us?

Just looking for answers. I thought we played pretty well in the first half.

we played well
had opportunities
missed opportunities
refs boned us hard

It looked good. We were up 24-21. Goggins got to leguax, who alunced a ball ionto the arms of Reddish, who had nothing but green between him and the goal line. Like Philip Thomas vs. Rutgers last year, Brandon got so excited he bobbled the ball and dropepd it. We forced a punt but Gulley whiffed on a block and Nassib got blind-sided and fumbled. Cincy scored to tkae the elad and we basiclaly did nothing the res tof the game. A total fizzle. The refs had little to do with it at that point. Marrone opted for a field goal from the 25 on fourth and three in the rain down by 11 and Krautman missed it. other than that we didn't threaten to score.

the refs dictated the enire first quarter, thus the tempo of the game - and it was decidedly not in our favor

He wanted a description of the second half.

But Alex Plavin compared this game to the Ohio State basketball game where the sheer amount of the calls the refs made and their inconsistency affected the pace of the game and thus hurt us because the baksetball team needed to fast break and the football team here needed to get a rhythm going and in both cases we couldn't.

Unfortunately, Cincy ran the sickest trick play on 4th and 2 that went for a TD. It was amazing.
I saw that actually. Hurt to watch, but it was pretty brilliant.

Wouldn't you love to see SU run a play like that?

HCDM: "I don't want to put the players in a bad position in case it would fail."

Game breakdown. The refs were s and frankly had no clue with no business being out there. Cinci called a ballsy trick play. Ptg whiffed on a block. Reddish and west both dropped touchdowns. Back to back holding calls on our o line. Missed a field goal when we should have gone for it. And tackling made an ok running back look like tecmo bowl Bo Jackson.

West dropped a TD in his breadbasket on a great toss by Ryan the 2econd downtrend we kicked that terrible FG
