Syracuse vs Oklahoma in 2003 just because I was there.
I was at the Auburn game that same weekend in Albany. South Pearl St and the bars were a sea of Orange. As to the game, Auburn had a guy at the foul line area that was killing the zone. But I remember feeling as though SU had control of things even though it ended as a one point game. What a weekend!

Thankfully they only include memorable Syracuse W's!

That was a 4 pt game if not for one more desperation 3 by Auburn. They closed the gap but it was just them chucking and fouling. We weren't losing that game.

Haven’t seen any of that game since it happened, but I recall a lot of SU avoiding fouling and Auburn getting hoops because if it. Not sure if that memory is accurate.

But yeah, I do remember I was never worried.

Marquis Daniels was scoring from the foul line area, a lot.

Marquis Daniels! He went on to be a solid role player with the Mavericks and Pacers for awhile, but was often hampered by injuries in the pros.

That Wisconsin game was awesome.

The two Kansas games obviously for their importance, and the Georgia game was the most thrilling to watch.

I was very young, but I recall that Missouri game being really exciting too?

Kind of a crazy stat, but aside from the first minute of the game, Auburn never once had possession of the ball, down by 3 points or less.

My Top 5 from the above:
1. April 7, 2003
2 '96 vs UGa
3. '12 vs Wisconsin
4. '96 vs Kansas
5. Zaga in '16

Thanks. Never remembered his name. Obviously he was very good.

If I recall, Shumpert hit a game-winning 3 over Tayshawn Prince to win the 2000 Kentucky game. He was a soph who was a back-up until this game. This was when he became a star, IMO.

Nothing can take the 2003 Championship.

That said, a few favorites...

- Loved seeing the 15 point comeback against UVA. Down that much against a strong UVA team was so tough.
- Gonzaga two days before the UVA game...how we battled and played awesome D to comeback and take the lead...then a huge blocked shot.
- Wallace coming down to hit a 3 to beat UGA in OT...after the last second shot to tie in regulation. Amazing game.
- I remember the SU-Wisconsin game where they just would NOT miss...until the last possession.

Thanks for the memories...certainly need them this year :)

I guess the win against UNC in 1975 doesn't count. 2 pt win Really put us on the map.
And 1987 Elite Eight against #1 seed UNC to make it to JB’s first Final Four. Finally got the monkey off his back with a big post season run and what should’ve been a title.

Was that the game where Al Maguire did a post game dance with the team ? Or was that 96?
