at Syracuse? Drayton wasn't here long enough. Curious, I can't remember, surely it wasn't Eddie O, please say it isn't so.

Somebody please tell me that isn't so, a guy that produced

I'm going to get killed for this...but who cares: George DeLeone

Tim Cross wasn't here long enough, but I think if he was, he was ready to clean up.

Didnt the story go that Deleone could find every high school in the Northeast without a map.

Adkins was a more than solid recruiter at UT. here... He has been alright with his Georgia connections.

well not exactly a muderers row of recruiters, many were here only a year or two. Deleone ran out of product at the end, and it looked apparent that he may have ran out of swagger in Jersey due to a slumping program with piss poor facilities. I wish Doug would hire one guy with a terrirtory that he has covered for years and can bring in players from said area in good numbers.. I don't want Marrone telling me this assistant is a good recruiter, I want to be able to look at past history and say, oh yeah this guy can recruit this area for sure. As Shady did last year

you cant succeed with a solid mix of assistants-some must be good coach's and 1or 2 should be gold in recruiting-

cant load up on recruiters like rutgirls does, you have to have some assistants who can actually coach

I wouldn't say TRULY GREAT..but Adkins seems to be the best for the southern players due to his past with the SEC. Wheatley is becoming a good recruiter for the midwest though which is nice.

I'd like to flip this around and ask what great recruiters have other programs held onto for more than a couple of years? College football coaching staffs changeover with extreme frequency.

George O'Leary/Coach Mac and everyone on Frank Maloney's staff except Frank.

it's been awhile, Eddie O was really the last I can remember. Deleone was solid as well. We have guys that get along with the kids great but do they have the relationships with the coaches, schools, etc
