Here is a thought or approach to take

It is pretty clear that we are not going to be in position to compete for the top coaches which puts us into the second tier. We might be able to land a Babers if we stretch but my question is why stretch. Bowling Green is not that much different than lets say a strong FCS program. If it were my call and i didnt land my first choice which thank God we didnt with Frost. I would go all in on the very best staff i could find. Either take a guy from Eastern Washington, James Madison, ODU, Jacksonville state or pick somebody like Ash and load him up with the very best OC DC and recruiters from the strong FCS schools. These guys are the next Frost, the next Riley etc... Go all in on the very best of the FCS and i think you would see Syracuse make a great leap. Think outside of the box and focus on the entire staff not just the head coach. Still spend 4-6 million but spend it across the board. Have at it
