Holy cow simply amazing for first year in ACC and first year HCSS! Congrats to Mackey especially on that fumble recovery on that last drive - very fitting way to end the season for this senior who has taken so much crap early on - he literally save 2013! Nice!

Here, here.

A 6-6 year where we suffered two 56-point losses, pitched two TD-less ACC games back to back and saved the guttiest and most dramatic for last.

I cannot imagine an uglier, yet somehow satisfying year like this one...though I can't wait to forget all but the last game.

15+ a bowl. So awesome.

Remember - SU was picked to finish 6th in the Atlantic on ACC Media Day.

4-4 in the conference. Not bad, but consider they were 4-2 in the division, beating everyone else besides FSU and Clemson.

So FSU #1 after today???

What is even more amazing is that we beat a team last year that has a punchers chance of playing for a BCS title this year depending on how things shake out (mizzou).

Beat mizzou at their place as well.

I admit I don't follow Missouri football. How did they make the jump from mediocre to SEC title game. Young guys last year that all came back?

Hmmm, just maybe, the SEC isn't as great as the media portrays them to be. Every team automatically seems "great" and is given the benefit of the doubt

I'll give them credit for one thing. Missouri wasn't given a high ranking like the other SEC blue bloods, they started the year unranked and had to move up the ladder. They weren't ranked in both polls until week 8. It helped that the played the usual SEC ooc schedule of 3 cream puffs and a lower tier BCS team (Indiana). The SEC teams they've beaten don't look so great now. The one they lost to (South Carolina) is looking good now. I fully expect them to get beat by double digits in the SEC title game.

Most pudits were saying 4-8, maybe 5-7. Great job coaches and players! Orange proud!!

I thought most had us last or next to last in the Atlantic. The fact we finished behind FSU and Clemson is fantastic.

Bleacher Report had us 7 of 7 in Atlantic
ACC Media Day picked us 6 of 7
SBNation had us 5 of 7
ESPN had us 6 of 7
CBS had us 6 of 7
Athlon had us 6 of 7
USA Today has us 6 of 7
FoxSPorts had us 6 of 7

All told, i think we had a pretty good year
