hey ESPN3

Agreed, there was a span where the bottom ticker said 3rd, and then they cut to a replay of a steal, while we have the ball from that steal they just HAD to show a replay of.

I can't even watch game now...damn espn3 won't let me back in. It's stuck.

it was absurd - who in the he11 is in charge of that production??

garbage broadcast. treating it like its a soccer match with those replays.

what are these production people thinking? They watch tv also I'm guessing. Would they like to see replays in the middle of live action??

Agree, although I don't believe we missed an actual shot which I was sure would happen. I can't get ESPN3 where I live, but my streaming site picked up their feed. Sorry to say this, but Boowie was a much better than player then he is an analyst. In the end, I was just glad to be able to watch the game.

Dumbest thing I've ever seen

In 30 years?

(Me too).

Also - I like Rosie as much the next SU fan, but he was trrrbul. And the other guy was a combination of Captain Obvious and Obviously Wrong.

Absolutely horrendous! I was off the board for the game but I knew when I came back this would be the topic of conversation. What person that was in charge, who has EVER watched sports in their life, says "hey, this could be a good idea"...??? Oh, and BTW, how 'bout all those threes?

yeah, those two were almost as bad as the ridiculous replays - just a terrible broadcast all the way around - but at least it was in HD and didn't cut out (for me watching on directTV)

Don't get me wrong... I appreciate being able to watch the game on tv (directv) than online but if I ever have to watch another commercial with Jimmy Kimmel singing that damn new years song again, someone, anyone, please stab me in both of my eyes. Aside from having to watch us look like a mid major team who can only heave 3's, that was really, reallly painful to get through.

Speaking of things painful to watch, oh my, we have Clemson tomorrow. Oh boy. Somehow, I still believe. Why not us? Please don't answer that as I still want to believe come 3:30pm.

Second that. I even like Jimmy Kimmel but I'm going to be hitting the mute button the rest of the year because they usually play the same rotation of commercials.

I love Rosie as an SU legend but as a commentator (okay, this is me trying to be respectful) I feel less smart after watching the game. Oh my goodness, that was ALMOST as painful as the repeated ESPN commercials that recycled over and over and over and over and over again.

BEAT CLEMSON - good night. :)

Keno Obokoh

I wasn't around during Roosevelt Bouie's years, but appreciate SU history, of which he's obviously a big part. As an announcer, just seemed like there was zero preparation. I don't think he said a single thing about Lehigh or its players until late in the game when directly asked how they would look in March (since they're predicted to win the Patriot League). I don't think I've ever listened to such a homer:). Glad he likes the team, but Everybody on the Orange was great or would be soon. It was a strange game to listen too, let alone watch with those ridiculously timed replays.

Just as a heads up, this production is something new for the athletic department. This production was an almost fully school-run production with some professional help. As such, there is a learning curve. I agree with all of the points made, but I just want to make sure you guys know this. Plus it's an ESPN 3 broadcast. So with that in mind, you have to realize that the production won't be the best. That being said, there's definitely some fixable things that I would hope improve by the time a similar broadcast happens again.
