Hofrichter play...

I was thinking the same thing! He did a great job pulling the ball into his little punter body as well as he could :)

Hoff spends time in the weight room. He's listed at 5'9" and 197. He's not your ordinary, run of the mill punter/KO specialist.

Most of these kids are pretty decent size now (relatively speaking). The days of the Andersons, and Allegres, Mares, etc., are gone.

The only thing left for him to do is get up and throw a punch that almost lays someone out like Dixon did to a LSU player.

So to be honest the most shocking part of that play was not that he caused the fumble, nor that he recovered it,,,,but that he didn’t get it ripped out of his punter arms at the bottom of the pile.

Just awesome. Not only was it a big hit, but to corral the fumble...

Very impressive play.

Actually, Gary Anderson was a good tackler. He played rugby in South Africa before coming to the states and
was not afraid to mix it up.

Joey Galloway on ESPN College Football Final said that it was the first time he had ever seen that happen. We got good reviews by all of the broadcasters for the win.

Are you talking about the celebration fist jab?

Babers said that they aren't just a Kicker and Punter they are Football Players.

Even still, although a great play, I want our all-world Punter and great kickoff man keeping his nose out of that! Just like DB said, don't ever do it again, lol.

I think it goes without saying where he provides the most value, and I don't want anything risking that. One of my last years coaching high school ball, in a Sectional Quarter or Semi game, we were down to our 4th Punter. We had lost our top-3 to injury throughout the game.

You know how many teams are reppin' their P4 in practice? 0, that's how GD many.

Regardless, 14 seconds to go, up 2, 4th down on our own 17. We're going to Punt it deep and OB to not risk a return. Snap goes through the P's hands and into the end zone. IHC recovers. Ball game. One of the most devastating losses I've ever been on the sidelines for.

This is what happens when you come to Kicker U
Kick great and get jacked!

Lol, great point, its ANYTHING goes at the bottom of those piles. Such a great athletic sequence. Punting the ball and then filling a lane, physically, down the middle, putting a stick on the ball and having the nuts to go and recover it.

Unsportsmanlike. He lead with the crown of the helmet. :rolling:
