Teams are going are going to zone us to death this year. All of our players are either poor shooters, slow shooters, or both with the exception of Kingz (and even he is only at 31% from 3 due to his cold start to the season but I tend to be confident that he's still a good shooter). Even if it isn't technically a zone like Hofstra was running, it'll be man but with the paint absolutely packed with help defenders (this is more like what Houston was running against us). Not only does it take away our guards' driving ability (which with the exception of George, is the one thing our guards do well), but it forces them to rely on their passing ability (with the exception of George, is probably what our guards are worst at) and their shooting ability (which none of our guards are good at besides Kingz if you want to call him a guard). When we do get the ball to White or Kyle at the FT line, they've been fairly good at hitting that high-low pass, but with how poor we shoot the ball, any look we get against zone defense is likely going to be highly contested.
