GM seems to be just throwing out plays, at least at times, with no real understanding of everything involved in calling plays or making adjustments.  There is no flow, there seems to be no effort to stick with what works, it's hard to understand what the game plan was going into the game, is the offense really designed for our players or designed on what we wish we were.  However, I can see at times what he's trying to do.  I just don't think he's very good at setting it all up.  He could really benefit from having someone with a lot of experience being there as a mentor for him.  I wonder if Marrone did this for Hackett.

I think it's possible that GM can become a decent play caller, his value right now is being a really good recruiter at a school very few HS big time players are dying to come to (maybe none).  And what is his experience coaching WR's successfully?  The more I think of the recruiting part of all of this, the more I think GM needs to be given a chance to be successful BUT not the way things are currently.  Hire a coach with a lot of OC experience to "coach" the WR's and don't tell anyone he's also acting as an advisory to help GM learn how to be successful as an OC.  That way there is no butt hurt or public embarrassment.

IDK.  This season is so frustrating I have no idea what to think at this point.
