Honoring 2000 championship team

I know they typically invite teams back during the ncaa tournament final four weekend for special reunions. It is making me old to think that my personal favorite 1 loss 2000 team is celebrating their silver anniversary this season. Still bitter they lost to a Petromala led Cornell team on a rainy midweek game.

Do you think there is a game when they might honor this team in the dome? Now that the schedule has been released it would be fun to speculate what might be recognized this season. Are there jersey retirement plans?

The NCAA will honor the 2000 Syracuse National Championship team this weekend on Monday. I have spoken to a handful of the guys that are making their way to Gillette for Memorial Day and they are thrilled that the Cuse is back at the final four. I would expect a high percentage of the 2000 team to be on hand.
