Mike Hopkins, Syracuse Orange

Hopkins is really a head coach who is serving as an assistant to Jim Boeheim. He is smart and an outstanding teacher, and he doesn't miss a detail. As a relationship builder, Hopkins is among the best. He listens, and that is uncommon in any profession. Although Hopkins has been labeled the coach-in-waiting for when Boeheim retires, I am annually surprised that some athletic director (or search firm, nowadays) doesn't grab him. He is that good. Of course, I insist that it wouldn't kill Hopkins to get out in the sun a little bit. One would never know he grew up in Southern California based on his opaque skin.

Funny, but what stands out to me in that article is that Bilas misused the word "opaque." I'm honestly surprised to see such a mistake from a guy that intelligent.
