With the new coaching change just so we can all be informed and intelligent about exactly where the high school recruits are and follow who is interested in us and how we do with 3, 4 and 5 stars,  here is this lovely chart - well kind of a chart, (really didn't want to arrange itself here so you'll have to squint to see exactly which teams have what), but will still give you an idea of where the talent is and why recruiting takes place in certain states. This is from Athlon. It should be noted that Georgia is making in-roads toward the top of the list with many recruits coming from the Atlanta area. It is not looking good for New York however New Jersey is improving.

[B]No Show State[/B]
There are 11 states that haven’t generated at least one top-200 prospect over the last five years. Many of them are obvious and make sense. We don’t expect elite recruits to hail from less populous states like Alaska, Wyoming, Montana, North and South Dakota or Northeast outposts Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island. But it was startling and concerning that neither West Virginia nor Nebraska were able to produce one of the top 200 recruits in the nation. This stresses the job the Huskers need to do in Texas and the work the Mountaineers need to do in Florida.

Remember, as a baseline Dino's current roster is 99 players 42 of which are from Ohio, 17 from FL
