this one is for a shot at the big prize, but I don't think they can beat Cinci trying to manage the game.

To beat these guys they need to turn it into a B12 game where all you need to do is get one stop and have the ball last.

Come up with 5 of those 1:30 packages and run those. What we need to see are the first and last second half possessions from last night.

We will have to outscore them. This will not be a defensive struggle. We can't leave points on the field.

We are sitting on a 4-4 record with 4 games to go.

We need 2 wins to even qualify for the Mediocre Bowl.

We have yet to play the two best Big East team and are scheduled to play a SEC/B12 team.

I don't think there is such a thing as a "house money" game left on our schedule.

Uplifting post.

This was my thought as well.

No way is this a house money game. We lost the right to have "house money" games when we shot ourselves in the foot over the course of 3 losses.

If they lose this game it's not the end of the world, but it they win it, the BEC is within their reach. All I'm saying is that if there is ever a game to play loose and just go for it, this is it.

Yeah...that I can agree with.

Fans always like high risk strategies ... except when they don't work.

They better be ready to play both halfs this week. They won't be able to come from behind down 2 TD's to Cincy's D.

This...

Syracuse will have to get some big plays because I know UC will.

I see us as better than Temple and Missouri and not as good as Lville and Cincy. So this game isn't imperative but if we win, it makes things a lot easier.

Louisville at home should be fun.

I think UL is the best.. I dont think they have played near as well as the talent level
I think USF has the most athletic groups if all football required was kids who could run around clueless
I think Pitt has the most football talent , but again poorly coached so far
I think rutgers has a bunch of athletes almost like USF, but like the WR they are athletic but not great football players , on D you can get away with that, not so much on O.
Cinci has the play makers on offense to scare you when they make plays.
I think SU has only uconn and temple behind them for pure athleticism on the roster, but we have only UL/Cinci to compare to in how much coaching is getting done to overcome the talent gap.
