This whole tourney has been like playing with house money. Let's keep rolling those dice because I'm not ready to crap out yet.
Hitting their stride at the right time - buckle up!This whole tourney has been like playing with house money. Let's keep rolling those dice because I'm not ready to crap out yet.
Lets not pretend that our bracket didn't just so happen to be the one that got blown up losing both the 2 and 3 seeds before us.Maybe just maybe, this team is better than you think.
Historically we've never been the beneficiary of a busted bracket. I'm happy that we got to finally experience it this year. It's not who you beat it's how far you get.Lets not pretend that our bracket didn't just so happen to be the one that got blown up losing both the 2 and 3 seeds before us.
Nothing can take away how we got here (and potentially to the elite 8) but we will have beaten a 7, a 15 and an 11 seed to get there.
We all knew we were good when we are on, and playing these types of teams will build the heck out of our confidence and give us a hot streak going into the "tougher" matchups later in the tournament.

We have got some breaks in the past 96, getting Drexel, Georgia, and Miss st, and in 03 getting Auburn, but other teams benefit from it as well.

We gave them an unguarded meaningless three at the buzzer. Spread be damned.2003 Auburn sweet 16 game was the only one Cuse didn't cover the spread

I remember it well. Thank God there weren't 10 more seconds in that game.Off topic but I was at that game. The barrage of 3's that Auburn threw at us at the end of the game was mind boggling.
No denying that. I'm just saying everyone needs to chill out about the "lack of respect" and media predictions against us. We have the easiest path (seed wise) of any team this year into the 16 and would also have it through to the elite 8 if we defeat the Zags.Historically we've never been the beneficiary of a busted bracket. The 1 seeds and Oklahoma have all had an easier seed path than us to this point. No denying that. Honestly nobody will predict us winning another game, even if we get to the finals, and you have to assume to chill out as a fan about that stuff
Actually, not to be a nit, but if you add the seeds of the teams we played you get a sum of 22. ND played an 11 and a 14 (25) and the one seeds all were at 25+.No denying that. When you toss in the Zags, that bumps us to 33 and would trounce anyone elses through the 16 (I'd assume)Actually, not to be a nit, but if you add the seeds of the teams we played you get a sum of 22. ND played an 11 and a 14 (25) and the one seeds all were at 25+.

No doubt the draw has been nice.
Don't really want too hear the 11seed stuff though. I'll take Vegas over the seeds every day of the week. When they're favored over the 3 and curbstomp them that should tell you something.
The Zags were under seeded. No question. They are more like a 5 or a 6.
True, but we haven't played or beaten them yet. When you toss in the Zags, that bumps us to 33 and would trounce anyone elses through the 16 (I'd assume)
