Did we plan to keep trying to match TD's with them? He can run and throw, and seems to have great instincts and a knack for making the right play at the right time.  Think about it...if he was the opposing QB, we'd be crapping ourselves with a QB like him on the other side, going for 2 to win the game. Did anyone ask this question at the presser or since, and if so was it met with any kind of response?

Despite being one of the voices of reason that was actually calling to keep Shafer in the post-game meltdown, I have been banned since Saturday, I presume for saying that he's not smart(see his numerous dumb presser comments) and coaches conservatively though I said it more bluntly than that (and yes even with that I still want to keep him, but he's got things he can get better at).  I guess you have to shovel salt potatoes and Genny Cream Ale down your throat with moderators at tailgates to be able to say anything with a remote edge to it around here.
